- Location: Queenstown Depot (Komani).
- x3 Warehouse Attendant
- Province: Eastern Cape Province
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- All warehouse duties with specific focus on offloading and loading of palletised cement, bulk loading and offloading, stock / pallets stacking in the yard.
- Loading transporter vehicles per correct weight distribution for the truck and per Traffic Road Regulations
- Reporting breakages and missing bags
- Ensuring the correct product type, product packaging and quantity is loaded in accordance with authority to load
- Assisting with the re-bagging and repacking of cement as per the set procedures
- Operating the forklift to move palletised products within optimal timeframes
- Maintaining Safety, Health and Environmental standards.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Grade 12/ Amended Senior Certificate/ NCV Level 4/ Technical Matric – N3 (4 technical subjects + 2 official languages).
- 8 ton Forklift driver’s license
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a related industry preferably with experience in the operating bulk handling equipment, and driving a forklift.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of forklift operation
- Very proficient in operating the bulk handling equipment.
- Good knowledge of safe pallet stacking procedure.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental risks.
